What’s been happening:

Since graduating with my masters degree in engineering mechanics in 1989, I have been working at DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. I have had numerous assignments in DuPont from an early career engineer rotation program to human resources. My current role is staffing manager for DuPont Talent Acquisition. I am directly involved in internal and external staffing for DuPont-North America. I coordinate DuPont's college recruiting activity. My specialty area of staffing is engineering and operations. In 1994, I married Jeannette, who I met at DuPont. We have two daughters, Nina and Julia. One of my passions has been technology education. For the past 18 years, I have been helping high school students understand what engineering careers are all about. In 2003, I helped form a nonprofit, First State Robotics, Inc., to help motivate children and young adults to pursue technical careers. For the past ten years, I have been team coordinator for the DuPont-sponsored Miracle Workerz high school robotics team (www.moe365.org). The team competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (www.usfirst.org). As some of my Penn State classmates can agree, it gets much more difficult to stay in touch over the years. If it's been awhile and you want to get back in touch, do it! I look forward to rekindling relationships.
